Mailune

Mailune began from my experience in Japan’s independent creative community, where I had the opportunity to work with many artists through collaborative anthology projects and other publications.

Through those experiences, I started thinking about how wonderful it would be to create a place where people around the world could discover Japanese artists in a more personal and tangible way. That idea eventually became Mailune.

Mailune is a snail mail club for people who love art, letters, paper goods, stationery, and the excitement of finding something special in their mailbox. It is also for anyone who is curious about Japanese creativity and culture.

What makes Mailune special is that it brings together multiple Japanese artists in one place. Members can discover different styles, choose which artist’s mail they would like to receive, and enjoy letters, postcards, artwork, paper goods, and even recipe letters introducing Japanese food and home cooking.

We also offer additional artist goods, so Mailune is not only a mail club, but also a place to discover and support Japanese creators.

More artists will continue to join Mailune in the future. Our goal is to create a growing bridge between Japanese artists and people around the world — one envelope at a time.
