The Lantern Letters

The Lantern Letters are personal Christian correspondence created to be opened slowly, read thoughtfully and kept.

Written by Australian author Dianne M. White from the Scenic Rim of Queensland, each monthly edition centres around a substantial eight-page letter exploring faith, Scripture and the ordinary places where God meets us in real life.

The writing is warm, conversational and personal rather than a formal devotional, Bible study or course. Dianne writes woman to woman about things such as hope, waiting, courage, grace, prayer, disappointment, change, home, ordinary kindness and what God continues to teach us through everyday life.

Each monthly mailing also includes a changing collection of beautifully designed flat paper keepsakes connected to that edition's theme. These may include:

Every Lantern Letter is completely standalone. There is no first chapter or fixed “Month One” that you can miss.
